Mental Health First Aid Workshop  

The Mental Health First Aid Training Workshop is designed to give participants the knowledge, skills, and tools to provide initial support to someone experiencing a mental health challenge or crisis.

This workshop aims to reduce stigma around mental health, improve understanding of common mental health issues, and empower participants to offer support and guide others to appropriate resources.

The Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) workshop can be delivered to both managers and staff at all levels. Sessions typically range from 90 to 120 minutes.

What Is Mental Health First Aid and Why Is It Important?

Mental health issues are one of the leading causes of sick leave, absenteeism, and reduced productivity across workplaces. Yet many employees and managers still feel unsure how to recognize the signs—or what to do when someone is struggling.

Mental Health First Aid training gives your team the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively. It helps reduce stigma, supports early intervention, and strengthens workplace culture by promoting empathy and awareness.

In this practical workshop you will learn about:

Meet the Facilitator


Denisa comes from Czechia and obtained her master’s degree in Psychology at Charles University. Besides being a psychologist, Denisa has completed accredited training in crisis intervention and psychological coaching.

She is currently working towards certification in Integrative Psychotherapy with a psychosomatic focus. Denisa works with adults and also has extensive experience with children, particularly in educational settings.

Besides working with individuals, she has experience with developing groups throughout various training sessions here as well as abroad.
