Mental Health First Aid Workshop  

The Mental Health First Aid Training Workshop is designed to give participants the knowledge, skills, and tools to provide initial support to someone experiencing a mental health challenge or crisis.

This workshop aims to reduce stigma around mental health, improve understanding of common mental health issues, and empower participants to offer support and guide others to appropriate resources.

The Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) workshop can be delivered to both managers and staff at all levels. Sessions typically range from 90 to 120 minutes.

What Is Mental Health First Aid and Why Is It Important?

Mental health issues are one of the leading causes of sick leave, absenteeism, and reduced productivity across workplaces. Yet many employees and managers still feel unsure how to recognize the signs—or what to do when someone is struggling.

Mental Health First Aid training gives your team the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively. It helps reduce stigma, supports early intervention, and strengthens workplace culture by promoting empathy and awareness.

In this practical workshop you will learn about:

  • Develop Skills to recognise signs of Mental Health Challenges

Meet the Facilitator


Dana was born in Prague, Czech Republic, and spent 43 years living in Mexico. She holds a degree in Speech and Language Disorders and Education for Children with Hearing Impairments from the Instituto Mexicano de Audición y Lenguaje. She also earned a Master’s Degree in Río Abierto Body Work System and Group Management, along with additional training in bodywork and psychotherapy.

In Mexico, Dana worked with both governmental and non-governmental organizations to support non-violent culture and relationships—working with women in vulnerable situations, children with different abilities, and men seeking to build more conscious relationship patterns.
