Focus & Flourish is a 5-week peer support group for adults with ADHD. Each 90-minute session combines a short, practical teaching segment with tools you can try straight away and time to share with others who understand. The space is predictable, welcoming and shame-free. Come as you are.

What you will take away: a clear, shame-free understanding of how the ADHD brain works, including medication, common co-occurring conditions and strengths; ways to spot and interrupt self-sabotage and impostor syndrome; a practical toolkit for time blindness and getting started on tasks; a regulation tool for rejection sensitivity and better tools for relationships; a clearer sense of the work and career fit that suits you; your own self-advocacy scripts; and a peer support and accountability network.
Each session starts with a check-in and reflection on the week, followed by a short learning segment led by the facilitator, then peer sharing and hands-on practice, and a gentle wrap-up with an optional focus for the week ahead.
The group is led by counsellor Kristýna Vávrová (MA in Psychology, working with CBT, DBT and schema therapy, with ADHD-focused research and diagnostic training at the National Institute of Mental Health), together with group support leader Roksan Mandel. In week 1, our psychologist Magdalena Njegić joins as a guest to explain what an ADHD assessment involves and answer your questions.
Our group agreements: what is shared in the group stays in the group, and we use first names only. Everyone can speak without interruption, and you can always say “pass” and simply listen. Moving, fidgeting or stepping out for a moment is welcome. Every participant signs a confidentiality consent form before joining.
- Week 1 · 4 NovemberUnderstanding the ADHD brainHow ADHD works in the brain, what medication actually does, how ADHD shows up alongside anxiety, depression or autism, and the strengths side: hyperfocus, creativity and resilience. Guest: Magdalena Njegić on ADHD assessment.
- Week 2 · 11 NovemberSelf-sabotage & impostor syndromeBreaking the “if it was easy it doesn’t count, if it’s hard I’m broken” cycle, and seeing perfectionism for what it often is: protection.
- Week 3 · 18 NovemberTime blindness & task paralysisMicro-stepping, body doubling, temptation bundling and visual time anchors, tried together on a task you have been avoiding.
- Week 4 · 25 NovemberRejection sensitivity, emotions & relationshipsUnderstanding rejection sensitive dysphoria, the Observer Stance, and building a shared language with partners, friends and family.
- Week 5 · 2 DecemberSelf-advocacy, career & moving forwardFrom over-apologising to asking for what you need, matching your strengths to work that suits you, your own “dopamine menu”, and a closing celebration.

We meet every week in the evening at our cosy office at Mezibranská 4, Prague 1, guided by our experienced counsellors. Each 90-minute session opens with 30 minutes of practical tips and insights from current research, followed by an hour of guided group discussion.
You can share at your own pace, without interruption, or simply listen: there is never any pressure to speak. Rather than giving advice, we share our experience, strength and hope. We use first names only, and what is said in the group stays in the group. Every participant signs a confidentiality consent form before joining.
One monthly reservation fee lets you join as many sessions as you like that month. Come as you are. You don’t have to go through this alone.
