Bio: Kate supports adults facing a wide range of challenges – from anxiety, stress, and relationship difficulties to life crises, serious illness, grief, and bereavement (providing support both during and after loss). Backed by hands-on experience in mental health and palliative care, she helps individuals navigate major life transitions, personal development, and well-being. Her non-directive counselling practice is grounded in the core values of the Person-Centred Approach: empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard. Kate believes that people are the ultimate experts on their own lives, holding the answers and potential for growth within themselves. By providing a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental relationship, she helps clients reflect on their experiences, uncover their inner resources, clarify what truly matters to them, and move toward a more authentic way of being. Kate holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of New York in Prague and is a certified Psychologist in Healthcare. Earlier in her career, she gained an MBA in Human Resources Management. She is currently undertaking a comprehensive, long-term psychotherapy training in the Person-Centred Approach. She is also a Certified Mindset Coach, trained in crisis intervention, and has completed extensive training in communication, leadership, and palliative care. Alongside Prague Integration, she now works as a psychologist in hospice care, providing specialised end-of-life psychological support and crisis intervention to patients and families, as well as supporting staff in coping with moral distress and promoting a culture of self-care. Previously, Kate held mid-senior roles within international corporate environments. This background enables her to connect with people from diverse cultures and seniority levels, communicate effectively in complex settings, and understand the pressures that impact well-being. She also deepened her knowledge as a psychological counsellor at the University of New York in Prague Counselling Centre and worked at the 3rd Faculty of Medicine at Charles University in the Division of Medical Psychology. Kate is deeply grateful for the trust her clients place in her, approaching each unique life story with humility. She looks forward to accompanying individuals on their journey toward healing, self-acceptance, and meaningful change.
