Bio: Kristýna Vavrová was born in the Czech Republic and holds a Master’s degree in Psychology with a focus on Health Psychology. She has lived in several countries, which has given her a deep understanding of cultural diversity and the ways people navigate life’s challenges. Kristýna works primarily as a therapist for adults, helping clients explore their experiences, build emotional resilience, and step away from coping patterns that no longer serve them. She tailors her approach to each person, drawing from multiple therapeutic methods and evidence-based tools (for example; CBT, DBT, schema therapy, family constellations, inner child work, etc.) to best fit each client’s needs and to create a more holistic approach. In addition, Kristýna also works as a child psychologist, bringing flexibility and insight to her work across ages. She previously worked as a research specialist at Národní ústav duševního zdraví, gaining valuable experience in evidence-based mental health practices and deepening her understanding of emotional wellbeing. What matters most to Kristýna is creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel truly heard.
