Bio: Tereza grew up in the Czech Republic but moved to the UK to pursue her psychology education. She completed her bachelor’s degree at the University of Kent and her master’s degree at the University of Manchester. Throughout her studies, she worked with individuals with learning disabilities, as well as children with special educational needs, including those growing up in multicultural families. She also volunteered as a peer group facilitator for adults experiencing trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, or abuse. Tereza has also worked as a mental health trainer, where she created and delivered workshops designed to improve understanding of mental health issues and promote mental well-being in various settings. Currently, Tereza works as a child psychologist in Prague, providing therapeutic support to children and adolescents facing emotional and behavioral challenges. She collaborates closely with families, helping them navigate complex dynamics and strengthen relationships. She is currently undergoing training in schema therapy, expanding her skills in working with deep-rooted emotional patterns and maladaptive coping mechanisms. In addition, she has a strong interest in family and couples therapy and is actively continuing her education in this area through independent study.
