Daniel Espitia is a certified Gestalt Therapist specialised in psychosomatics, clinical hypnosis (and is a lifetime member of the IHA*), cognitive and linguistic programming/processing. He works as a personal coach for individuals and organisational in both corporate and government, focusing on decision-making processes.
Daniel has been an international speaker in a variety of fora and brings a unique understanding of the management of human emotion applied to individual and relational therapy.Â
Before dedicating himself as a full-time therapist he worked as a software development engineer and later as an international senior economist working for international organisations including the UN. This led him over decades long pursue and studies towards a humanistic approach to international development and hone his skills in personal development.
Asides his early professional schooling at the University of Washington, Seattle, he received a Mastersâ in Neuro Linguistic Programming in Argentina, studied Buddhist Psychology at the Karma Triyana Dharmachakra in New York, and other international Buddhist centres in South Africa and India. He worked with natural healers including from the first nations traditions in the Americas and other traditions in Asia and Africa where he lived for over two decades. He finalised his psychotherapy training at the Institute Gestalt of Barcelona with additional training in Systemic Family Therapy and EDMR** Trauma Process, has a Masterâs degree in Clinical Hypnosis and Psychosomatics, and is currently member of the Psychosomatics Unit team at a local clinic in Prague.
In his work Daniel works with both individuals and couples.
