Daniel Espitia is a certified Gestalt Therapist, a mindfulness meditation instructor, and speaker at a variety of fora, bringing a unique understanding of the management of human emotion applied to individual and relational therapy. He is also specialised in cognitive and linguistic processing, for both personal and professional decision-making, and performs Eriksonian hypnosis.
Concurrent with his work as a Senior Economist, and his interest in a more Humanistic approach to international development, he received a Mastersâ in Neuro Linguistic Programming in Argentina, studied Buddhist Psychology at the Karma Triyana Dharmachakra in New York, and other international centres in South Africa and India. In both the Philippines and South Africa, he worked with shamans and natural healers where he learned many of the first nations traditions in the Americas. He then studied at the Institut Gestalt of Barcelona and received additional training in Systemic Therapy and Trauma. He is currently completing a Masterâs specialised degree in Clinical Hypnosis and Psychosomatics in Spain, and is a member of the Psychosomatics unit team at a local clinic in Prague.
In his work Daniel works with both individuals and couples.
