Simona received her Bachelors/Masters degree in Clinical Psychology, with the main focus on group analysis and family dynamics theories. She presented her thesis and state exam in Cognitive-Behavioural techniques. She is soon to complete her 4 year training in Psychodynamic psychotherapy.                              

Simona possesses over 15 years experience providing clinical services to kids, young people, adults, families and groups. She has worked in a variety of settings including private practice, residential, school and hospital/medical centers (pediatric neuro rehabilitation units, nuclear medicine, oncology departments), senior facilities, organizations for immigrants, and HR companies.

Simona started her clinical career in 2008 working with both individuals and couples/families and running support groups. She is also a teacher for kids with disabilities, a mentor for students, and professionals dealing with career changes, burn out and other work-related difficulties. She has helped parents with emotionally/cognitively/behaviorally challenged children.

She spent some years living and working in the United States, where she continued learning about mental health and Psychoanalytical theories. She loves holding Health Promotional events centering on body image, eating disorders, and the connection between food and emotions.                  

She currently works in oncology care and uses multimedia/art to help those who are healing and grieving.
