Kristýna grew up in the Czech Republic but continued living and studying abroad. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of South Wales, United Kingdom, and during her studies, she got trained and volunteered as a coach for high school pupils at risk of underachievement. 

After finishing her bachelor’s degree, Kristyna continued to pursue her master’s degree in Clinical Positive Psychology and Technology at the University of Twente, the Netherlands. In terms of her professional practice, Kristýna continued working in different settings, including psychiatric hospitals, multidisciplinary outreach teams in health, and social care, and elementary and high schools in Prague. She is now specializing in working with children and teenagers and is currently training in Integrative Psychotherapy and Crisis Intervention. 

Kristýna’s main passion and motivation lie in self-discovery. She believes that the more we know and understand ourselves the more freedom we get to choose how we will cope with the things life brings us. Her approach in sessions includes different aspects of mindfulness and positive psychology.
